Francisco Lindor is a local, by Florida standards. The New York Mets shortstop was born in Puerto Rico, but moved to the area as a pre-teen. Lindor went high school in Monteverde, the same area where he just purchased a lakefront mansion for $2.9 million.
Though Lindor plays in New York and attends spring training several hours away, he grabbed a spot he has ties to first. The 5-bed, 6.5 bath mansion is built for entertaining, should any of his family swing by. The jewel of the property is its back deck and pool area.
