Jimmy Buffett's Florida bungalow hits the market for $7.25 million, and it comes with a music studio

A little piece of Parrothead history is now for sale in Florida.

Located at 138 Root Trail in Palm Beach, the historic bungalow was built in 1925 and is owned by the late musician and billionaire king of Margaritaville Jimmy Buffett.

According to property records, Buffett purchased the estate through an LLC in 2002 for $802,000. The home is just one of a handful of Florida properties owned by "Bubba," but it might be one of his smallest.

With just 1,523 square feet of living space, the house sits about a block from the Atlantic Ocean and has a total of three bedrooms and three bathrooms, plus features like Dade County pine floors, a tropical patio with outdoor showers, and a detached music studio.

This little cheeseburger in paradise comes with a big price tag. Buffett's bungalow is currently listed for $7.25 million, which is about an 804% increase from when he first bought it. The listing agent is Blake Anderson Hanley of Brown Harris Stevens of Palm Beach.

In September of 2023, Buffett passed away at the age of 76 due to complications of skin cancer.

Known for what he called his "drunken Caribbean rock & roll," Buffett is considered to be one of the highest-selling music artists of all time, with over 20 million certified records worldwide. Last April, Buffett was chosen to be posthumously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the Musical Excellence category in 2024.
