Every summer, Central Florida is plagued with either unrelenting heat, endless rain or some combination of the two — a major bummer for those wanting to kick back on a patio while remaining dry.

Although there's little escaping high temps, there are still plenty of options for sitting outside without getting drenched in summer rain. Here are 27 Orlando-area restaurants and bars with covered, rain-friendly patios.
