
Mon Laferte is breaking stereotypes and records. The Chilean-Mexican singer and songwriter is bringing her Femme Fatale tour to Orlando, highlighting recent albums that share the name of the tour. Laferte released the first album of the Femme Fatale series in 2025, with Femme Fatale Vol. 2 dropping in June.
Her stage name, “Mon Laferte,” was adopted in the early years of her career, after she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, as a symbol of change and new beginnings and jettisoning previous monikers. Laferte’s music blends jazz, pop, salsa, cumbia and bolero, combining the sounds of several different countries to create high-energy music.
