Slchld slides into Orlando with velvet halls of R&B
I recently wrote a column about the new Asian dimensionality that Australian hardcore band Speed represents. Then new Korean-Canadian artist Slchild slides into town to remind us that the Asian persuasion also extends down the velvet halls of R&B.

No, this isn’t manufactured K-pop cheese. This is a supremely chill clinic in pure silk and soul, and Slchld will lay it down like a natural-born lover.

6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, The Social, $27.50-$150.
