An ode to Orlando Brewing’s new Senator Imperial Stout

I do not like those ancient trees
I do not like pollen in my breeze
I’d like more concrete if you please
Because this nature shit just makes me sneeze
But a stout from Orlando Brewing,
I am for
Imperial Stout, well pour me more
And Choco flavours, well, I’m your whore
Skip the hippy crap, just a beer, por favor!

Farwell Lil Indies, hello Daughters & Co.

I’m excited for Ms. McGavock, because her presence and cocktails rocked The Courtesy, but simultaneously sad to see Lil Indies go, because I appreciated the low-key, quiet, calm atmosphere accompanied by amazing craft beer and wines. Super excited to hear about the new format! I liked Lil Indies, but this new one will likely be a draw for me, as opposed to kinda just another cool place that was one among many choices.

Also, yay on the smoking ban!
