Accidental Music Festival Timucua Arts Foundation sponsors the second edition of this experimental music festival, which makes it a goal to bring contemporary and avant gard music and programming to a wider audience. Last year's festival, which spanned 10 days, featured world premieres, international musicians and local notables in the modern jazz and classical scenes. This year, the festival takes place over a weekend and its most well-known act are the San Francisco-based indie darlings, Deerhoof, who will play at the Plaza Live on Friday night with two of our favorite local acts, Telethon and Levek. On Saturday, Mexico's Symphonic Orchestra of Guanajuato performs at Edgewater High in the afternoon, and in the evening, Timucua will host a Central Florida Composers Forum as well as an all John Cage piano recital by Michelle Schumann. The festival wraps up on Sunday with an afternoon concert at Timucua by Eladio Scharrón and Carrie Wiesinger, who will perform Latin works for flute and guitar.

Electric Daisy Carnival Although the lineup has not been announced at press time, it can be assumed that if you attend one bacchanalia of dance music, drugs and drops, it's this circus-themed annual rave. Last year brought the likes of Tiësto, Afrojack, Skrillex, Benny Benassi, Goldie, Datsik and Diplo to Tinker Field and if there's anything we've learned in the 15-year history of this event, it's that it keeps getting bigger every time.
1 pm; Tinker Field, 287 S. Tampa Ave.; $49.50-$249; 407-649-7297.
