Next Tuesday, Jan. 21 at 9:30 p.m. is your only chance to catch Filmage: The Story of Descendents/All at the Enzian, for those whose album collections owe a huge debt to the band who influenced and informed a swarm of punk bands to follow. Every Descendents fan knows that it was due to Descendents lead singer Milo Aukerman leaving the band that ultimately led to its evolution into All in the late ’80s. But what this film offers are deeper insights into all the band drama surrounding band leader Bill Stevenson, including interviews with Dave Grohl, Mike Watt and other music icons who made local pop punk bands like the Areolas and Wet Nurse possible. Park Ave CDs is co-hosting this viewing party, and tickets are $7.50-$10. More info here. Trailer below: FILMAGE Teaser 2 from Deedle LaCour on Vimeo.
