Winter Park Harvest Festival, Central Park’s West Meadow

Here in Orlando, we might not get to enjoy the changing colors of leaves and brisk temps, but when the fall season arrives in Central Florida, along with it comes a jam-packed schedule of special events. It’s almost as though you need to map out your calendar in order to help navigate your way through this eventful fall season. Luckily, we’re here to help, and below you’ll find a vast array of outdoor festivals, food truck gatherings, pet-friendly shindigs and everything in between.

For the gore-crazed Halloween zombies we’ve got Halloween Horror Nights (through Nov. 2) and OW’s own Orlando Zombie Ball (Oct. 23). Foodies relish the East End Market Grand Opening (Oct. 25) or munch their way through the Festival of Bacon (Oct. 5). Meanwhile, locally minded shopaholics get their fill at the Fall Fiesta in the Park (Nov. 2-3), and the lit buffs honor their predecessors at There Will Be Words’ Dead Poets Slam (Oct. 26).

Maybe you’re looking to down das boot at an Oktoberfest bash? Snatch up some new vinyl records, perhaps? Or spend the day carving pumpkins with the kids? No problem, you’ve come to the right place.
