Growth in Transition: Sustainable Development – Fiction or Challenge? Most of us already feel that listless anxiety about disparate (and huge) issues conflating into a giant mess of a future, but few are equipped to offer much more than small solutions or oversized rhetoric. Alexander Likhotal, a former adviser to Mikhail Gorbachev, attacks the issue of sustainability in a growing global culture with a unique, seemingly clinical perspective.
