Waiting for East End Market to open

3201 Corrine Drive

We’ve been looking forward to Audubon Park’s “neighborhood market and cultural food hub” since it was announced in early 2012, and anxiously eyeballing construction progress on every trip down Corrine since. Developer John Rife (of Winter Park Harvest Festival renown) and organizers from the Audubon Park Community Market are building the dream: a 14,000-square-foot facility enclosing veggie and bakery stalls selling locally grown and produced food, a restaurant, a demonstration kitchen, party space for rent and more. As of press time, they’re promising a late-September opening, so keep the faith, locavores.
