Field to Feast: Recipes Celebrating Florida Farmers, Chefs, and Artisans
When we first picked up this cookbook late last year, we were impressed by how co-authors Pam Brandon, Katie Farmand and Heather McPherson not only showcased a collection of in-depth profiles of Florida-based farms, but also how they were able to pry detailed recipes away from those farmers and other local chefs. The coolest part about cooking up any of the Field to Feast recipes – other than the palpable support you’re providing for local food producers – is that you can find food (sometimes just a few hours old) from many of these farms at a bevy of Orlando markets.
