Mythbusters: Behind the Myths If you're addicted to the Discovery Channel TV show, in which Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman blow stuff up, drive cars way too fast and perform sometimes bizarre experiments in an attempt to debunk (or prove) urban legends, you may pee your pants with delight when you hear that Savage and Hyneman are going to do their thing live, onstage during this appearance at UCF. They'll perform some experiments, occasionally enlisting audience help, and tell tales from behind-the-scenes at the show. Ever wonder if the unorthodox attempts to disprove something go wrong? Has anyone ever been hurt in a filming of Mythbusters? (answers: yes and yes). Here's your chance to hear the war stories. 8 pm Friday; UCF Arena, University of Central Florida; $33-$148; 407-823-6006; ucfarena.com.
