Come Out With Pride This is the celebration of LGBT life in the City Beautiful. Pride Day in Orlando is Oct. 6, but the Pride celebration begins with opening ceremonies on Oct. 4 at the Abbey, followed by the Pride parade and celebration on Saturday, Oct. 6. When the colorful parade around Lake Eola ends, the festivities have just begun! More than 150 vendors will be set up around the park by day, and live music, beer tents and a fireworks show will light up the night. After the parade is over, grand marshal Debbie Gibson (yes, that Debbie Gibson) performs in the evening at the Parliament House. Hamburger Mary's downtown hosts a recovery brunch with $2.50 mimosas and $6 bloody Marys on Sunday, Oct. 7, and closing ceremonies will take place that evening at Macy's at the Mall at Millenia.
